Air tightness – throughout the conversion special attention was paid to air tightness to reduce heat loss from draughts.

Insulation – the barn is well insulated and has heat recovery ventilation to save energy.

No wood burner – wood burning in homes accounts for more small particle pollution emissions than all UK traffic.

A ground source heat pump provides heating and hot water.

The barn’s electric supply is a 100% renewable tariff.

An electric vehicle charge point is available for guests with electric vehicles.
